Ghost Signs
Obviously I like things that are old. One of the things that I enjoy is what is called ghost signs. May people thing they are an eyesore and should be painted over ASAP. I think they are works of art. Ghost signs are the old faded signs that were painted on the sides of block and brick buildings many years ago. As many of the old building are getting renovated or simply torn down the ghost signs are quickly disappearing and the old sign painters that can still paint by had are slowly dying off. The old sign painters were true artist of the trade.
